$1B Office Depot, OfficeMax Merger Won't Nix Annual Meeting

Law360, Wilmington (June 25, 2013, 10:16 PM EDT) -- A Delaware Chancery judge Tuesday ordered Office Depot Inc. to hold its annual shareholders meeting Aug. 21 after a major common stockholder sued the office supply retailer to force the gathering regardless of when a proposed $1.2 billion merger with rival OfficeMax Inc. closes.
