Law360 (January 28, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A group of black employees in a Coca-Cola Bottling Co. factory in Ohio has sued the company, saying that they have been consistently subjected to a hostile work environment.
The 23 plaintiffs "are all African-American and current and former employees of defendant in Cincinnati who worked at either its Duck Creek Road or Wilmer Avenue facilities," the complaint said.
"They all seek equitable relief, and compensatory and punitive damages based on the racially hostile work environment they endured as African-Americans working for defendant throughout the course of their employment and continuing through the present," it said.
