Creditors Object To Interstate Bakeries Plan

Law360, New York (January 28, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- To emerge from Chapter 11 protection, Interstate Bakeries Inc. must still overcome several obstacles, including an objection to its disclosure statement recently filed by the company's unsecured creditors.

In the objection, filed on Jan. 24 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Missouri, the official committee of unsecured creditors lodged a formal protest to IBC's disclosure statement, claiming that the statement does not contain adequate information.
