High Court Turns Away Nev., Ariz. Gay Rights Suits

Law360, New York (June 27, 2013, 5:18 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court refused Thursday to hear Arizona Governor Janice Brewer's challenge to a Ninth Circuit ruling that blocked a law denying benefits to state workers' domestic partners and another case over Nevada's definition of marriage as a union between a man and a woman.
