Bankrupt Highway Tech Gets Nod On $8M Branch Sales

Law360, Wilmington (June 27, 2013, 3:35 PM EDT) -- A Delaware bankruptcy judge indicated Thursday that he would approve deals struck by traffic safety firm Highway Technologies Inc. to sell two of its branches for a total of more than $8 million, with one fetching more than double the value of its stalking horse bid at auction.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Kevin J. Carey said he would give the deals the stamp of approval once attorneys for Highway Technologies revised documents related to the transactions to indicate that several objections had been resolved.
