Senate Bill Would Create Nuclear Waste Watchdog Agency

Law360, New York (June 27, 2013, 6:34 PM EDT) -- A bipartisan group of four senators introduced legislation Thursday that proposes guidelines for building nuclear waste storage facilities and would establish a new federal agency to oversee the process, steps the legislators say are necessary to address the steady accumulation of hazardous substances around the country.

The Nuclear Waste Administration Act of 2013, introduced by Sens.
