CMS Must Improve Overpayment Recovery, Watchdog Says

Law360, New York (July 2, 2013, 3:56 PM EDT) -- The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services must step up its efforts to collect Medicare overpayments before they reach "currently not collectible" status, with nearly all of the hundreds of millions of dollars in overpayments which go CNC annually never collected, a watchdog said Tuesday.
