Arent Fox Accused Of Wage, OT Violations By Ex-Employee

Law360, Los Angeles (July 3, 2013, 3:21 PM EDT) -- A former Arent Fox LLP employee sued the law firm on Tuesday in California state court, alleging it failed to pay her for overtime, didn't furnish her with wage-and-hour statements and fired her in retaliation for her complaints about her pay.

According to a seven-page complaint, Sherry A. Smith-Weissmann claims she was subjected “to increased scrutiny” after she complained to Arent Fox that she wasn't receiving overtime pay for working more than eight hours per day or more than 40 hours per week.
