US Steel Cos. Claim 9 Countries Dumping Oil Well Tubing

Law360, New York (July 3, 2013, 2:04 PM EDT) -- A coalition of U.S. steel manufacturers urged the U.S. International Trade Commission to investigate alleged dumping of steel products commonly used in the oil and gas industry by nine countries located in Asia, Europe and the Middle East.

U.S. Steel Corp., Welded Tube USA Inc. and other domestic companies filed a petition with the ITC on July 2 seeking anti-dumping and countervailing duties on certain tubular steel products, casing and tubing. The petition claims foreign imports from the nine countries are being sold in the U.S....
