Mid-America Pipeline Expansion Project Wins BLM Approval

Law360, New York (July 8, 2013, 1:27 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Bureau of Land Management on Thursday announced it had approved a 234-mile expansion of Enterprise Products Partners LP's Mid-America Pipeline system in New Mexico, saying the project would have no significant environmental impact.

The BLM had analyzed Enterprise's construction and operation plans and taken into account feedback on a tentative version of its environmental assessment before determining that the pipeline expansion, known as the Western Expansion Pipeline III Project, or WEPIII, would have no significant environmental impact, the agency claims.
