UK Watchdog Releases New Cartel Leniency Guidelines

Law360, New York (July 8, 2013, 4:25 PM EDT) -- The U.K. Office of Fair Trading on Monday unveiled updated guidelines for the leniency process in cartel cases, saying it would not require attorney-client privilege to be waived in any instance.

The OFT released a set of guidelines meant to provide a “clear and practical framework” for companies and individuals that apply for lenient treatment in competition cases.
