USCG Union Says Rival Stole $10M Contract With Cargo Co.

Law360, New York (July 10, 2013, 3:35 PM EDT) -- A union representing U.S. Coast Guard officers and engineers has sued the nation’s largest union of merchant marine officers, alleging it convinced a cargo company to unlawfully sever its collective bargaining agreement with the Coast Guard union, according to a suit that was removed to District of Columbia federal court Monday.
