Ex-Sidley Real Estate Head Admits Faking Expense Receipts

Law360, New York (July 10, 2013, 6:51 PM EDT) -- A one-time member of Sidley Austin LLP’s executive committee admitted Tuesday that he took nearly $120,000 in firm reimbursements for phony taxi rides and questionable entertainment expenses, but said he did so by mistake or as a shortcut so he could dedicate more time to his “substantial and demanding” real estate practice.
