EU Advances Controversial Tobacco, E-Cig Regulations

Law360, New York (July 10, 2013, 6:25 PM EDT) -- A key committee in the European Parliament advanced sweeping regulation on Wednesday that would ban flavored and menthol cigarettes, eliminate slim cigarettes and regulate increasingly popular electronic cigarettes as medicines in a broad effort to decrease smoking among young Europeans.
