Maersk Wants High Court To Nix Transocean's $15M Patent Win

Law360, Los Angeles (July 11, 2013, 7:13 PM EDT) -- A.P. Moller-Maersk A/S has urged the U.S. Supreme Court to review a $15 million jury verdict in Transocean Ltd.'s patent suit against it, saying the Federal Circuit unlawfully applied U.S. patent law to Maersk's conduct abroad in finding that Maersk violated Transocean's offshore drilling patents.
