Jury Favors Monsanto In Patent Dispute With Bayer

Law360 (November 22, 2005, 12:00 AM EST) -- A jury has ruled in favor of Monsanto Co. in the company’s patent dispute with rival Bayer CropScience over an insect-protection technology for corn.

Monsanto said the jury found that it did not infringe a U.S. patent assigned to Bayer CropScience and that the patent was invalid.
