Ex-FTC Chief Kovacic To Join UK Antitrust Enforcer's Board

Law360, New York (July 15, 2013, 6:13 PM EDT) -- The British government on Monday named former U.S. Federal Trade Commission Chairman Bill Kovacic, U.K. Competition Commission Chairman Roger Witcomb and several others to round out the board of the country's new antitrust enforcer, set to launch in October.

The U.K.'s Department for Business, Innovation and Skills had already named the two executives for the incoming Competition and Markets Authority: designated chair David Currie and designated chief executive Alex Chisholm.
