UK Stalling On Plain Packaging Jeopardizes Global Adoption

Law360, New York (July 15, 2013, 8:47 PM EDT) -- The U.K. government postponed its decision on whether to require plain packaging for tobacco products on Friday in order to see what happens with a similar measure in Australia, a move that suggests the intellectual property and commercial speech concerns raised by the initiative could derail its adoption on a wider scale.
