1st Circ. Tells Insurer To Pay Interest, Despite Delay

Law360, New York (July 16, 2013, 4:57 PM EDT) -- The First Circuit on Monday held in a published decision that an insurance company must cover post-judgment interest on a $6 million verdict in an injury suit, even though the plaintiffs demanded the interest years after the insurer paid its policy limit to cover the judgment.
