Court Imposes Sanctions In Mouse Patent Case

Law360, New York (January 31, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has decided to impose sanctions in a case over a patent related to scrolling wheel computer mice, dismissing plaintiff F &G Research Inc.'s appeal of the trial court's decision to throw out the suit and writing that F&G and its counsel had “significantly misrepresented the facts.”
