House GOP Calls For ACA Individual Mandate Delay

Law360, Washington (July 17, 2013, 5:20 PM EDT) -- U.S. House Republicans blasted the Obama administration on Wednesday for handing businesses a one-year reprieve from Affordable Care Act provisions without providing individual Americans similar flexibility, once again calling for the repeal of the health care reform law.

In a late Wednesday vote, the House passed two Republican-backed bills that would codify President Barack Obama's decision to postpone the ACA employer mandate's implementation and extend that delay to the individual insurance mandate, with GOP congressmen claiming the president's decision proved his landmark law is imploding. ...
