Lexington Partners Closes $1.6B PE Co-Investment Fund

Law360, New York (July 17, 2013, 1:31 PM EDT) -- Alternative investment firm Lexington Partners, the largest private equity co-investor in the world, has closed its latest fund with nearly $1.6 billion in committed capital, the New York-based fund firm announced Wednesday.

Lexington, which offers a variety of co-investment and secondary acquisition funds, closed its Lexington Co-Investment Partners III LP fund with $1.57 billion in assets. The firm will use the capital to make investments alongside leading private equity sponsors in the U.S., Europe and Asia-Pacific regions.
