Top GCs Cleaned Up With Recession Recovery Pay

Law360, New York (July 17, 2013, 5:38 PM EDT) -- Recession recovery refilled the wallets of many of the best-paid general counsels last year in the form of bigger salaries as well as more company stock, according to a survey released Wednesday.

Following significant drops in 2011, the average paychecks for top general counsels rebounded strongly last year across compensation categories, according to a survey of the 100 highest-paid U.S. GCs conducted by Corporate Counsel magazine.
