UK Security Adviser To Eye Huawei Cybersecurity Center

Law360, Chicago (July 18, 2013, 5:20 PM EDT) -- The U.K. government said Thursday that its national security adviser will review Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd.'s cybersecurity center in that country, but also said it was confident that U.K. networks using Huawei equipment are operated at high standards of security and integrity.

Prime Minister David Cameron's administration was responding to the parliamentary Intelligence and Security Committee's report from last month on the national security implications of foreign involvement in U.K. infrastructure, in which the committee voiced concerns about Huawei's perceived links to the Chinese government.
