NLRB Seeks Injunction Against Massey Energy

Law360, New York (February 1, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The National Labor Relations Board has asked a federal court for an injunction against Massey Energy Co. to force it to rehire 85 union coal miners in compliance with a November ruling.

The NLRB filed the petition for an injunction on Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia, contending that Massey is not complying with federal labor laws.
