Md. Can't Balk On Dominion Plant Permit, DC Circ. Says

Law360, New York (July 19, 2013, 3:38 PM EDT) -- Maryland environmental authorities must move ahead on a permit application for a compressor plant in the state proposed by power giant Dominion Resources Inc.'s interstate gas transmission unit, the D.C. Circuit ruled Friday. 

The Maryland Department of the Environment should not have refused to process Dominion Transmission Inc.'s application for an air quality permit for the plant it plans to locate in Myersville, Md., according to the opinion by the three-judge panel.
