Va. Court Urged To Reverse USPTO Neurological Patent Ruling

Law360, New York (July 19, 2013, 8:21 PM EDT) -- A Virginia magistrate judge on Friday recommended that a U.S. Patent and Trademark Office appeal board decision rejecting Tact IP LLC’s bid to claim priority for patents covering treatment for neurological conditions should be reversed, saying the disputed methods are novel and nonobvious.
