ResMed Takes New ITC Action To Enforce Sleep Aid Patents

Law360, New York (July 22, 2013, 5:59 PM EDT) -- Respiratory treatment giant ResMed Inc. hit BMC Medical Co. Ltd. with a complaint before the U.S. International Trade Commission on Friday, accusing the Chinese medical device manufacturer of importing products that infringe eight ResMed patents covering sleep apnea treatment equipment.

California-based ResMed is accusing BMC and its U.S. subsidiary 3B Products LLC of stealing its technology related to humidifiers, nasal pillows and nasal masks.
