Rio Grande Standby Mining Permit Nixed For Improper Review

Law360, New York (July 23, 2013, 5:47 PM EDT) -- A New Mexico state judge on Monday blocked a standby permit that would have allowed Rio Grande Resources to go five years without cleaning up its inactive uranium mine, ruling that state regulators illegally curtailed public participation in the process.
