Fried Frank Lures Back Goldman Sachs Deputy GC

Law360, Los Angeles (July 24, 2013, 4:12 PM EDT) -- A Goldman Sachs Group Inc. deputy general counsel will leave Goldman to rejoin Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson LLP as co-chair of the firm until February 2015, after which he will lead the firm as sole chairman, the firm said Wednesday.

David J. Greenwald, currently deputy GC and international GC at Goldman, will return to Fried Frank to serve as firm co-chair alongside current chair Valerie Ford Jacob. In March 2015, Jacob will become the firm’s senior partner, according to the announcement.
