Baron & Budd Atty Assumes Presidency Of Plaintiffs Group

Law360, New York (July 25, 2013, 7:47 PM EDT) -- A Louisiana attorney with Baron & Budd PC who represents plaintiffs exposed to toxins took over Wednesday as president of the plaintiffs attorney organization American Association for Justice.

Baron & Budd shareholder Burton LeBlanc was sworn in at the group's annual convention, held this week in San Francisco. The organization — which used to be known as the Association of Trial Lawyers of America — bills itself as the world's largest trial bar. It advocates on behalf of plaintiffs attorneys before Congress.
