Ex-BP Engineer's Deepwater Forensics Subpoena Tossed

Law360, New York (July 25, 2013, 5:59 PM EDT) -- A Louisiana federal judge on Thursday shielded a computer forensics firm from a former BP PLC engineer's subpoena regarding evidence from the Deepwater Horizon disaster he is charged with destroying, saying the firm's back-and-forth with prosecutors was protected work product even though it was paid by BP.
