Almaz Raises $102M For Russian Venture Capital Fund

Law360, New York (July 25, 2013, 6:41 PM EDT) -- California-based technology venture capital firm Almaz Capital has raised $102 million for its second fund, which will focus on venture investments in Russia, according to a securities filing by Almaz on Tuesday. 

The Cayman Islands-incorporated fund is known as Almaz Capital Russia Fund II LP. Almaz, which is headquartered in Menlo Park, Calif., said in its filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that it is a venture capital fund.
