Halliburton To Admit To Deepwater Evidence Spoliation

Law360, New York (July 30, 2013, 5:58 PM EDT) -- Halliburton Energy Services Inc. is expected to be arraigned in Louisiana federal court on Wednesday for allegedly destroying computer simulations that could have shifted blame for the Deepwater Horizon disaster away from BP PLC, this as the two continue to point fingers at each other in the litigation fallout from the oil spill.

Halliburton, which installed cement on the offshore oil platform under contracts with BP, is scheduled to be arraigned on a single count of obstruction of evidence in connection with the offshore rig explosion...
