FDA Proposal Pits Importer, Supplier Against Each Other

Law360, New York (July 29, 2013, 8:54 PM EDT) -- A major food safety rule proposed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration last week would require importers to give the agency records on their foreign suppliers, a mandate that attorneys worry would stifle the sort of cooperation between the companies that the proposal is meant to engender.
