Detroit Retirees Bash Proposed Committee Selection

Law360, New York (July 31, 2013, 3:30 PM EDT) -- Two Detroit retirement groups on Tuesday urged a Michigan bankruptcy judge to block the city and unions from selecting a committee of retired employees, arguing that the trustee should have sole discretion in determining who will represent the interests of one of Detroit's largest creditors.
