Atty's Estate Entitled To Contingency Fee, Appeals Court Says

Law360, Los Angeles (July 31, 2013, 10:07 PM EDT) -- A California appeals court ruled Wednesday that a lawyer's estate is entitled to a contingency fee from a legal services contract even though the lawyer died before the contract was fulfilled, saying the contract wasn't voided by his death.
