US, China Seize Counterfeit Goods In Joint Operation

Law360, New York (August 1, 2013, 2:27 PM EDT) -- U.S. and Chinese Customs officials on Wednesday announced the seizure of more than 243,000 counterfeit consumer electronics, the culmination of a “first of its kind” bilateral operation between the two countries aimed at stemming the flow of knockoff goods.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection said the monthlong operation stemmed from bilateral talks between the two nations.
