Indicted Texas Judge Charged With Felony Perjury

Law360, Houston (August 1, 2013, 6:21 PM EDT) -- A Texas judge fighting abuse of office charges was arrested for the third time in as many months Wednesday, on criminal perjury charges stemming from testimony he gave during a hearing in a child custody case brought by his ex-wife.

Galveston County Court at Law Judge Christopher Dupuy, who has spent the last two months fighting nine indictments accusing him of retaliating against lawyers practicing in his court and misusing government resources, was indicted Tuesday afternoon on two felony counts of aggravated perjury.
