Workers Claim Entergy Showed Race Bias In Hiring

Law360 (February 5, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A group of black employees has hit power company Entergy Corp. with a lawsuit alleging they were victims of “extreme indifference” that allowed racial discrimination to go unchecked.

The five workers filed their complaint Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas, accusing Entergy of wilfully violating Title VII of the Civil Rights Act by promoting less qualified white workers above them.
