Kirkland Aids Sentinel In $1.3B Fund Closing

Law360, New York (August 1, 2013, 5:43 PM EDT) -- New York-based private equity firm Sentinel Capital Partners has closed its fifth fund with $1.3 billion in capital, it said Thursday, achieving a first and final closing two weeks after announcing the fundraising in a regulatory filing.

The fund held the closing Thursday, Sentinel said. The fund will invest in lower middle-market companies, following Sentinel's strategy of working with companies that have experienced management teams.
