Banks Back $112M Loan For Swedish Wind Project

Law360, New York (August 5, 2013, 3:33 PM EDT) -- Germany's KfW Group and Sweden's Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB have partnered on an €84.5 million ($111.95 million) loan for a Swedish wind farm, which is part of what could become Europe's largest wind venture, the banks said Monday.

The funds will be used to drive an 84.6-megawatt subproject, known as Skogberget, for the larger Markbygden wind farm off of Sweden's northern coast, according to the companies. KfW IPEX-Bank and SEB AG will split the loan financing commitment 50-50.
