Greenpeace Raises Protest Over U.K. Power Station

Law360, New York (February 6, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Environmental advocacy group Greenpeace International has reportedly threatened to sue the British government if it does not open a public investigation into energy giant E.ON U.K.'s recent application to construct a coal-run power plant.

Greenpeace has vowed to bring legal action against U.K. Secretary of State for Business John Hutton if he does not accede to their demands for an investigation, the Financial Times said on Tuesday.
