CIT Hands Alpinestars Lower Duty On Motocross Boots

Law360, New York (August 5, 2013, 4:56 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Court of International Trade ruled Friday that Alpinestars SpA's Tech 8 motocross boots should be reclassified as a different type of footwear under the nation's tariff schedule, a decision that subjects the merchandise to a significantly reduced duty rate.
