Mass. Appeals Court Revives Dutchess Investor Claims

Law360, Los Angeles (August 5, 2013, 8:27 PM EDT) -- A Massachusetts appeals court on Friday partially revived an investor suit against Dutchess Capital Management LLC and several of its officers and advisers over ill-fated investments, saying some of the claims are subject to the commonwealth's savings statute.

A three-judge panel for the appeals court partially reversed a trial court's grant of summary judgment to the defendants that dismissed the Dutchess investors' suit as untimely.
