Pa. Judge Banned From Bench Over Ethics Violations

Law360, Philadelphia (August 6, 2013, 5:41 PM EDT) -- Pennsylvania’s Court of Judicial Discipline removed suspended Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Judge Thomas Nocella from the bench Monday, following an earlier finding that he violated the state's Constitution and brought disrepute to the judiciary.

In a one-page order issued after a hearing on sanctions last week, the court also determined that Nocella would be ineligible to serve on the judiciary in Pennsylvania in the future.
