FlashPoint Says HTC Phones Lifted Camera Imaging Patents

Law360, New York (August 7, 2013, 4:01 PM EDT) -- FlashPoint Technology Inc. hit HTC Corp. with a suit Tuesday over allegations that the electronics titan sold camera-equipped smartphones that violated four digital imaging patents.  

HTC and its U.S.-based subsidiary HTC America Inc. were accused of manufacturing smartphones, including the HTC One, that directly and indirectly infringed FlashPoint's patented technology in violation of U.S. Patent Numbers 5,812,736; 5,943,093; 5,986,701; and 6,362,850.
