EU Continues Probe Over Chinese Solar Panel Subsidies

Law360, New York (August 7, 2013, 4:41 PM EDT) -- The European Union said Wednesday it will continue an anti-subsidy investigation into Chinese solar panels but won't impose provisional trade measures, this days after the EU and Beijing agreed to end a dispute over a parallel dumping investigation on solar panel imports.

The European Commission, the EU's executive arm, said it “will continue working actively on the case in order to arrive to definitive findings” by December. The commission said its decision to waive provisional duties will not have any bearing on its ultimate decision due...
