DOE Streamlines Natural Gas Reporting Schedule

Law360 (February 6, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Under new federal regulations, importers and exporters of natural gas are no longer required to file quarterly reports, with pre-existing monthly reports expanding to cover the information formerly disclosed in the quarterlies.

The U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Fossil Energy published procedural order number 2464 in Wednesday's Federal Register, finalizing the new regulation that was first proposed in August 2006.
