PSS Says Ex-Workers Took Trade Secrets, Clients To New Co.

Law360, New York (August 8, 2013, 2:57 PM EDT) -- Medical equipment and pharmaceuticals distributor PSS World Medical Inc. hit five former employees with a multimillion-dollar trade secrets suit in Florida federal court, alleging they used its confidential information to establish a rival company and steal its customers.

Jacksonville, Fla.-based PSS said two of its former area business managers set up their own distribution company, Trident Medical Group LLC, hired three former PSS employees, and successfully convinced four major clients to sever their relationships with PSS and take their business to Trident.
